Birthday parties at the Mill Pond Branch
YMCA are lots of fun. Running on weekends only, there
are five different special interest parties to choose
from, including pool, gymnastics, new games, dance and
arts & crafts.
All parties are two hours in length. During
the first hour there is a specific activity for the
children based on the type of party chosen, and during
the second hour food is served and presents are opened.
In order to have a party at the Y, the
birthday child needs to be a member. The age range is
7-12 for pool parties and 5-12 for all other types of
parties.
Pool parties are offered only on Saturdays
from 5:30-7:30 pm or Sundays from 2-4 pm. Games, Gymnastics
and Dance Parties are offered Saturdays from 3-5 pm
or Sundays from 11-1 pm.
Maximum guest attendance is 20 children.
Mill Pond Branch Y staff will run both portions of the
party, including the activity time and also the food/present/clean
up portion. The family is allowed to decorate the party
room as long as they bring their own decorations. The
family is also responsible for supplying their own paper
goods, food and drinks.
Due to such a high demand for pool parties,
it is imperative to call at least two months
prior to the requested date to ensure availability.
For all other types of parties, a minimum of at least
one-month’s notice is usually sufficient.
